Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how users of WordFusion can request the deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your account using one of the following methods:
Option A — Delete from within the App
- Open the WordFusion app on your device (iOS or Android).
- Go to your Profile / Settings — tap the profile or settings icon, usually found in the top corner of the main screen.
- Tap "Delete Account" — scroll down to find the account deletion option.
- Confirm the deletion — you will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
Option B — Request Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly:

Include: The email address associated with your WordFusion account.
We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm the deletion via email.
What Data is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion, as described below:
| Data Type | Retention Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymized analytics data | Up to 14 months | Aggregated, non-identifiable data used for app improvement. This data cannot be linked back to your identity. |
| Crash logs | Up to 90 days | Used to diagnose and fix technical issues. Automatically purged after the retention period. |
| Third-party advertising data | Varies by provider | Managed by third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob). Subject to their respective data retention policies. |
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your game progress, scores, and leaderboard rankings will be lost. You will not be able to recover your account after deletion.
Third-Party Data
The App uses third-party services that may independently collect and store data. Deleting your WordFusion account removes data from our systems, but you may also wish to manage your data with these providers directly:
- Google (Firebase, AdMob) — manage your data via Google Account Settings.
- Apple — manage your data via Apple Privacy Portal.
